Damselfly Cottage is located in Sutton, New Hampshire, near Mount and Lake Sunapee, New London, and Dartmouth.  This lake house is a romantic cabin on clear and beautiful Lake Blaisdell, where the swimming is heaven, the loons sing, and the fishing is great, especially bass fishing.

Damselfly Cottage has been in the family since 1963.  The heavenly combination of beautiful sky, lush hilltops, wonderful gardens, clean and charming interior and the beguiling lake, make this a most memorable place for family vacation.

The cottage was named after the lovely dragonflies and damselflies that thrive near the pristine waters.  We love them not only because of their beauty, and flying prowess, but also because they eat mosquitoes and other insects. You will enjoy their amazing feats of flight while relaxing on the dock watching the loons, out in the canoe, rowboat, or paddleboat.

Swimming in the lake is heavenly.  The lake temperature hovers around 80 in the summer.  Clear water and little boat traffic make boating, swimming, and fishing very enjoyable.

Damselfly Cottage is available to rent from late spring through the fall.  It is managed by our family, so we put extra care and touches into everything we do.  Our rates are very reasonable, and our hospitality is warm and caring .

“We had a wonderful week at the lake. The wonderful little touches that greeted us made us feel very welcome and much at home. The cottage was clean and comfortable. The lake beautiful and clear. One week was not enough! Great place to slow down and renew body and spirit.
